Each child is a unique individual with their own exponential potential. We believe that wellbeing and leaming are holistic, intrinsic and interconnected. Children develop a positive self-esteem, respect and empathy for themselves and the world through role modelling and positive guidance. Children develop an awareness and acceptance of others through their peers, educators and through sharing in art, literature, music, games and role play.
Children will be given experiences to develop as individuals and as valued members of the larger group, celebration, news sharing, parent involvement in formal and informal occasions will extend and develop throughout the child's life. The program aims to foster and embed the Early Years Learning Framework in our program. as well as music, role play, gross and fine motor skills, creativity and self-expression, language, communication. show initiative and articulation with staff seeing appropriate professional referral as needed
Our natural holistic environment has a foundation built on equanimity which enhances the whole child. Each child has the freedom to connect, with nature, discover, explore, see, feel and touch. We embed a lifelong respect for sustainability, being aware of the wonders of nature in our inner world, the miracle of our bodies, organs and senses. Children experience the importance of physical and emotional wellbeing through play, food, active play and relaxation. As positive patterns established early become life-long habits and lead to productive, happy adults who are confident within themselves and possess a proactive resilient attitude to life.
Creating dispositions for life-long resilience begins with inspiration and collaboration between educators, families and the community.Enriched social and creative play opportunities within our safe trusting environment encourage children to experience balance and develop self-respect, self-responsibility, self- reliance, self- regulation, mindfulness and empathy. Connections are deep meaningful and often generational, adding a rich narrative of stability and support. Each child will experience the happiness and security of being, becoming, belonging, exploring, learning and sharing through play. Our historical context as we celebrate 30 years of planting seeds of gratitude and growing happiness in our community.
